Demystifying Database Archiving On System z™
Those running System z™ know that it allows larger data volumes, more complex and volatile workloads, higher levels of application integration and accelerated information flows - all of which place unprecedented demands upon underlying servers and databases.
Add to this challenges such as spiralling data growth, stricter rules on data governance, internal SLAs on application availability and performance and it's easy to see why businesses running System z™ are increasingly employing data lifecycle management strategies.
IBM understands that System z™ users are looking for best practice solutions for these issues. That's why we're holding a roundtable meeting on 13th November at Gordon Ramsay's Maze Restaurant.
The sessions include valuable insights from independent 3rd party data management expert, Philip Howard of Bloor Research, Julian Stuhler, President of IDUG (International DB2 User Group) and IBM System z™ and data management experts Triton Consulting.
- Data management analyst and expert Philip Howard discusses the challenges that System z™ users face and strategies to solve them
- Independent data management experts explain how System z™ users can benefit from employing a data management strategy
- Learn how other organisations running System z™ have implemented and benefited from their data management investment
- Network with peers in an interactive roundtable environment and enjoy a FREE lunch at Gordon Ramsay's Maze Restaurant
